Standard of Medical Care

Round the clock active care

Patients are frequently and timely visited throughout the day by the medical staff, and through the night too if needed.

The time of all visits, whether brief or lengthy, and the observations made are recorded officially. They are double checked by specialists in order to ensure proper working of the care taker staff.

Number of Staff Vs number of beds

It has taken years to evolve a streamlined system.

The staff works by a system which has been designed over the years to prevent error and provide the best of care and satisfaction possible. We try harder every day, and every small incident of mismanagement is taken seriously. The smallest of complaints are also taken care of with top priority. Our aim is that each patient should be catered to like a family member and not taken as a routine client.

Night Duty

The night staff is not allowed to sleep and is compensated for the full 12 hours of the duty.

This is ensured by surprise checks in the middle of the night and video surveillance in the corridors. But however, the most effective check is feedback from the patients. Good communication between the management and the patients ensures higher quality of service. There is always someone authoritative to take a complain at anytime during 24 hours.

Selection and recruitment of medical staff

(Medical officers, staff nurses, operation theatre technicians, x-ray technicians and lab technicians)

The medical staff members are selected on the basis of their knowledge of their perspective field, personal intelligence and diligence capabilities.

At the time of recruitment prospective staff members are interviewed by senior specialists and experienced members of the management. They are initially hired on probation. During the probation period they work under supervision and not independently. They have to prove their competency and opinion is taken from their senior co-workers. Once approved, they are given their appointment letter.

Due to the competitive market, the medical staff is highly paid to provide them an incentive to stay at Naz Hospital. They are also given bonuses based on their individual performances every month.
